A carry on will take 35-40 liters of belongings. How many days worth of clothes will depend on the season and your clothes size.
Even if your clothes are a small size it can be a struggle to pack 10 days worth of clothes in a carry on. Compression packing cubes will help. Wear your most bulky items on the plane, try to pack layers. Consider travel laundry and other packing light tips.
Make sure you have a carry on that is close the maximum size permitted. Choosing a 2-wheeled carry on rather than a spinner gets you some extra space. Also, most legacy airlines allow 2 bags.
